I once lost control in my Dodge Stealth where I drifted at a 90 degree angle to the left, then at a 90 degree angle to the right and regained control by adjusting steering and speed. This kid needs to learn how to drive.

I still remember back when I got my learner's permit. You have to go to the courthouse and the judge gives the group of new driver's a short lecture then calls out your name and you go up and get your permit. Anyway, the lecture was about being inexperienced, and that the biggest cause of accidents in new drivers is overcorrection. You drift off the road on the right, then jerk the car to the left overcorrecting, then either spin out to the left or overcorrect back to the right and spin out there. Seems to still hold true.

I remember screwing up when I was 16 because of inexperience but not because I was being an asshat like celicadood9. It had just started raining and I exited the highway doing about 70 (limit). This was pretty usual - it was one of those really long circle exits where you have a lot of time to slow down. Anyway, I downshifted on the curve (on a wet road) and the car immediately spun. It just rotated and I slid off the highway, spinning to a stop in the grass. Noone was hurt and the car was fine, but it could have been much worse.

It's hard to blame young drivers for accidents they cause due to inexperience. But celicadood9 can't use his age as an excuse for risking the lives of others.

i too had an accident when i was 16 but it was from inexperience not wrecklessness, i hit a snowdrift ( lived in alaska at the time) that had formed on the road, causing my truck to flip over and roll 10-12 times, i should have died is what the ambulance drivers told me, but what that kid did was just reatarted, he put others at risk to be cool

Yikes. I'm sorry. I've been in a car that rolled (camero). I got 2nd degree burns from the seat belt, broken nose from the airbag, two broken wrists and a few fingers. A metal plate now holds my radius and ulna together in my forearm, I got 14 staples in my head and my ear was re-attached by a plastic surgeon. 8 weeks in college with both arms in casts really, really, really sucked.

The pictures are sweet though. :)

I'm glad you were OK.

Reading that story ticked me off majorly. That guy needs his a** kicked. He could have killed someone and it didn't even seem to phase him. :furious:

I don't know about you guys, but I think my e-penis even grew 1", just by reading about that display of masculinity.
Apparently that wasn't the purpose the tool had in mind when he posted that. He says it was so others will say "wow, that kid almost died, I shouldn't do what he did" and not to compensate for his e-penis. He posted it as a public service. This guy deserves a commendation, a mention in the local news as a hero or maybe even a spot as a guest speaker at a local school, better yet, the poster child for pro-choice.
