A few months ago, I was foolish enough to leave one of those 6 qt boxes of Mobil 1 5w30 in my back seat. Needless to say, one qaurt leaked and now I have a mess that just keeps coming back. I've tried everything - Lexol, isopropyl alcohol, dawn - it all takes the oil out temporarily but then it rises to the surface again the next week! Not to mention, I now have all of these ugly ripples in my leather. Does anyone know what to do - is there any hope at all?

Sounds like you might have to remove the leather cover, and wash out all the oil in the seat to prevent it from coming up again.

FYI, the back seats aren't real leather like the fronts. They're pleather.

you'll need to remove the vinyl covers off of the foam and either get all the oil out, or replace the foam. The vinyl just keeps drawing the oil to the surface.
