Trying to find the best place and price for the strongest hatchback lifts for 2004 Celica GT with Action package. I bought 2 sets in last couple of years and they wore out in no time. I was told the action package tailgate is heavier? Anyone know where to get strong ones? TY in advance.

I just installed them last week. Pro tip: attach the bolted on side first when installing, as it's a super PITA to line up the holes when the ball joint side is installed first. Also, having a friend to hold the hatch while you're removing the old parts will save your back the next day.

Sold by AUTOPARTSPREMIUM were the strongest hatch struts I ever bought. After 2 years It still takes lots of force to close down the hatch.

Bought it for $14.50 a pair, about $20 now. Toyota's OEM was like $200 a pair and would fail after about 1 to 2 years.
