The production of GT-R R35 will officially start in Japan. The R35 should debut in Japan in 2005. People in Japan are excited to find out that they are creating another great sports car. They will possibly be equipped with a new 3.3 liter V6 turbo charged engine.

The new R35's engine will be called VQ33DET; it will be lot bigger from R34's RB26DET. The new engine will not be inline-6 but it will still keep the twin-turbo. The new engine will produce 380hp @ 7000rpm and 361 ft-lb @ 4500rpm. The new R35 might have the new so called "Electric Turbo" that spins the turbine electronically. It also comes with new 4WD system called "e-4WD" that will elctronically control the motor as well.

Its about time they changed the first design lots of people didnt like the first concept bu this one looks much better that the first one. Nissan is going to make a lots of money off of this car.

with AWD, rear steerable ATTEZA, under panel aero, aluminium chassis, 6(possibly a 7) spd getrag, super high performance brembos brakes, the world's best engine...

ladies and gentlemen, the GTR is a super car, and makes the 350Z look like a toy...

I said "Looks" as in appearance, i'm quite aware that under the hood they are 2 completely different vehicles.

hood? its all about the engine wit you guys

The engine is just one part of the car... the significance of the GTR is the engineering perfection that it is as a whole...

Much better than the concept, but it just lacks the brute-force look of the R34.
