Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the new PS2 fits in the glove compartment? Thinking of hooking one up and was wondering if someone who has it can try it out...If not, any ideas where to place it so it's easily removable to use at home too while being accessible with the remote while driving :evil: Thanks...

It can probally fit, but just remember that the new PS2 is a flip top (like the PS1). The CD tray doesn't eject like the old PS2, so it might be harder to swap games in and out from the glove box. Although that would be the best place to mount it.

I wonder if that console will fit on the passenger side air bag.. hmmm.. I wouldn't recommend it but hey if it's for show then go for it.

just tried out the measurements and it fits...maybe someone who has one can try it out... Is there a way to connect the RCA end to an adapter that makes it 3.5mm female so I can use an FM modulator for sound?

the new Slim ps2's will fit just fine. they're the size of a playstion controller.

you should try and fit in where the stock radio goes in now. would it fit there?

Glove compartments seems to be the best spot...I'll give it a try in the next couple weeks and let you know. I measured the dimensions of the PS2 and the compartment and it should fit...We'll see

Fits nicely in the console area behind the shifter. I tried it, but the problem was changing games/dvds. Wish they designed the new PS2 with a pop out tray rather then flip up.

Don't buy the new ps2, I've heard that they are recalling them because of some issue with the fans inside it.

I'm assuming the compartement behind the cupholders? I can't imagine it fitting anywhere else, based on his description, without modification.
