Helios just got a new slim design ballast..
They are almost done with prototype and they told me yesterday that it will be available end of this month...
I don't have the exact spec for the new ballast..
They both have external igniter..

Regular ballast dimension is 3" x 3.20" x 1.5" and 1.2lb ballast and 0.65oz igniter
So you can kind of imagine estimate dimension for the new slim ballast..
New ballast was alot lighter then the regular ballast...
Once I get reply from them I'll post the dimension and weight...

Also I have another manufacturer with slim design ballast...
I haven't setup an account with them yet, but I will soon..
Their spec is 2.2" x 2.25: x 0.32" thick..
They have the smallest ballast that I know of....
I don't have alot of detail on it, but I think it also has external igniter

Also... HID search light... one of the rep keep saying it's not flash light... it's "search light"
This company go through Helios has manufacturer for their production....
Second picture shows you the ballast... specifically made for that search light..
It's the mid section...

They retail about $350-$400
Available in 24 watt and 14 watt
On full charge, it lasts about 2 hours...

Too bad it's Helios. I thought Helios wasn't one of the better brands ...

^ didn't a vendor sold like a azz load of helios? and ppl were saying its twice as bright as techone. I know of one in my area and he said so far so good.

Yea I've got their 5k kit and that thing is nice.

Pretty neat. But it does look like a flash light. I'd hate to see someone point that in someones face lol.

It's not the best brand compare to OEM type ballast..
But it's better then any China brand..

Xenon-shop who suppose to sell Helios is not selling Helios..
Their "special edition" is replica or other cheap name brand HID kit....
Helios company does not make Xenon Storm or what ever brand they sell....

If they didn't get Helios brand name HID kit, then it's not Helios...
I know that Xenon Storm is copied HID kit that former employee used to work for Helios..
Xenon shop is not authorize Helios dealer anymore... since he doesn't buy it form Helios anymore...
They "were" authorize dealer for Mexico... not US
