Just got (4) 6.5 inch aluminum cone top of the line Sony Xplodes to replace the stock cabin speakers and (1) 12 inch Xplode Sub for the trunk with a 600 watt Sony Amp. How hard do you guys think it will be to wire all the speakers & sub on the new amp and bypass the premium sound stock amp? I've done all my other installs myself and I would like to do this one also... give me some tips cause I'm not too familiar with audio installs.

well unless its a 5 channel amp i wouldn't be running 4 speakers and a sub off it.

Ahhh. Good point. How about the two rears off the Sony and the front doors off the stock? That possible?

I would recommend powering the front speakers and the sub off the amp. I personally wouldn't even run rear speakers, but if you want to, run those off the factory deck. But please, fade the music to the front.

Good idea I suppose... never thought about that. I always assumed that if anything, let the back speakers handle most of the tunes.
