alright i purchased the replica kit and it came yesterday i want to do the body work my self i heard you need to wash it with hot soapy water like 10 to 15 times to get the mold releasing agent off of the fiberglass is this true
or if any body else knows any tricks to prepping a fiberglass kit any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Dude, just wet sand it with fine grit wetordry sandpaper. That'll get most (if not all) of the surface residue off.
