Web designing isn't my thing man... I have some knowledge in it but I really prefer not to do it.

Thanks. I'm working on another flash animation soon enough, but in the mean time, this is my most recent drawing (I think I posted this in OT). Sorry for the image size, it's my desktop background.

I do web design, but I haven't built a webpage in a good while. Still got the tools for it though. I'm not extremely advanced, and I need to polish my skills again.

Johnny, I always wanted to do most of the motion graphics animation stuff that you did. Was it really difficult to learn?

^Not at all man. If you know how to use flash, After Effects should be pretty simple. You just need a lot of patient and time. I'm currently working on another motion graphic reel for my MMA gym just for fun. It'll be about 45 seconds... And so far, I've probably spent over 4 hours on it.

Wow, and I know how you feel about patience. It took me 2 weeks to complete, I think it was, 3 minutes of animation. Walk cycles are a bitch. I always liked the motion graphics that had the arrowheads flowing around the screen.

you have any samples? there is compensation. my buddy is looking to build a site for his bodyshop.

Unfortunately, no samples. They all got erased when my harddrive got corrupted this year. :marky:

I do not build craptastic websites though mind-you. I was actually making a website for myself as well (for random stuff)

Does he want it to be built primarily in HTML or Flash, or both?
Does he want a lot of complexity or does he want to keep it simple?

Lots of questions to ask, but I'll stick with these 2 for now.

EDIT: Actually, I found one of when I was making websites for private servers for an online game:

it will be a business website for his body shop. he wants it professional but simple. kinda like this...

http://daland-autobody.com/index.htm

but if you can make something better that would be cool.
If this is going down for reals, I would compose a contract to make things official. Then you guys can talk about payments and when to expect the project to be finished, etc.

Ah, simple, but professional. I'll make a note of it. I'll make a little sample front page, and if he likes it, I'll see if I can build him the rest of the site. What color preferences does he have btw?

Would want to see if he gives me the thumbs up first. We'll let you know. Thanks Johnny
dont worry about the whole legal stuff dude. this is all business related and therefore any business transactions and proposals will be done via legal documentation.

PM me your number and email dude. let's talk off the thread ;)
haha..thats cool..my brother and pretty much all my cousins played Dream RO(Ragnarok)
Does anyone post in this anymore? I'd like to see what else you guys have been doing lately.

I haven't been drawing as much as I should. However, there's been quite a few new ones that I haven't scanned/took a pic of YET. But here's to bring the thread up to snuff:

The gauge cluster I changed that one to a fresh looking one that needs to be made when I can. I just need to translate this from a Celica cluster to a MR2 cluster (unless I swap a Celi cluster into the deuce)

Been trying to work on drawing people more proportionate and better, here's one I came out with:

This part of what I came out with last year:

...Which was a part of this one. This is the complete version. I colored it, printed it (at over 800~900 ppi), and framed it, and sent it to my gf for Christmas:

More drawings of more dynamic scenes:

Character Interaction Sketch:

Friend wanted to be "anime-ed" up:

Some good ol drawing in Flash:

The beginnings of this character started from when I first began testing a new drawing style:

Followed by a full body sketch:

2 things yoshi 1. Damn the car your house is nice as heck! And 2. The girls hand in the 1st pic looks a little down-syndrome-ish over all however your drawings are amazing.

Never really considered myself to be "artist", more creative. I used to draw cars mostly. I started out with sideviews then taught myself to do 3/4.
