i recently bought an oem carbon fiber hood. and when i was taking off the stock parts to put them on the new hood, the rubber stops where twice the size of the holes in the new hood. not only that but the old hood had thin metal for the stopers to screw into. now i have thick carbon fiber to screw into.
what should i do? im looking at other cars trying to find stopers to fit but that could take forever.

do you mean the two rubbers pieces underneath the hood? if so don't worry about it. most people with hoods don't even have that piece. just make sure you get hood pins thou. that is a MUST!

any local tuner shop should have them. i currently have sparco hood pins and they've been fine for the past year

When you have hoodpins, keep an eye out in case someone steals them when you are gone.
