it's a 2000 69k miles...i was installing boosted's header, when to install my 3rd gen's as pictured...and pretty much threw the bolt across my garage when only half came out

hmmm...always something...:rolleyes:

I am going to try the extraction method using sears tools first...i am wrapping the remaining part of hte drill bit in electrical tape then putting a rubber electrical shrink tube on hte bit, and heating it up...that will eliminate damage to the cam threads, hopefully........

I know id do the same, g-luck with the extraction, imma change my 04s when i hit 50k which is about 8k away, i got my fingers crossed:gap:

i remember watching smaay remove a broken one and it was no easy task :ugh:

Ha! goodluck and have fun.

I did broke one of my exhaust manifold's bolt. I end up spending a 90 degree drill with reverse and key lock and bolt extraction kit.

Not an easy task but it will be a good experience.
