i have an apr gt300 wide body coming in in the next few weeks. i am planing to re-paint my whole car blue and hoping to have a secondary color. so far i have a replica c-one wing, carcept roof spoiler, trd hood spoilers, on my gts that is running on 18" 10 spoke white rims. i am looking to sell my rims in the near future for some custom rims, but right now, i need opinions for my paint job.

i was thinking about having my whole car a dark (not midnight) blue, and having the hood spoilers and the middle section (below the scoop towards the emblem) either white or silver. what do you guys think? and i am possibly thinkn of something on the side of the car as well...i'm probably going to get flamed for this, but all opinions are welcome. thanks for the help everyone!

eh...not too sure about that paint scheme. I'd say just go all one color. But that's me.

i have a friend that got his whole car repainted the Nissan 350Z blue and that blue is HOT! you should look into painting your car that color

First off, congrats on the kit, wish I could get that for mine. BUT, imho I'd say ditch the hood and roof spoilers. I think they'd mess with the clean look of the kit, but that's just my opinion. As for the color, I'd go with all one color too.
How much did you pay for the kit anyway, and where did you get it?

I think 2 could look good. I'm just finishing my second gt-s with the celeb trd paint job. One is pearl white with red and black and the one that's not done is gonna be silverstone metallic(s2000) with red and black on the sides. I say do what you like. Why go one color? So you can look like the rest of the one color cars. I'm with you, do something different. Also congrats on the kit. What did you have to pay for it?

The gt300 widebody kit does not need two colors to make it look better and it also does not need hood spoilers or roof spoiler. Take those off and paint the car one color plz.

if you paint your car two different colors, keep the hood spoilers and roof spoiler on, and paint it some stupid color like powder blue or neon green/yellow/anything, bad things will happen to you :curse: :hex: :0men:

ok..i think i'm going to get rid of my hood all together and rear wing and get the apr celica replacement wing and go carbon fiber for the hood. but that's when i can afford it.

i have a friend that knows the owner from carisma and he got me the kit for $3000. and my first priority right now after i get the kit slapped on is to customize some rims.

Keep it one color and take off all those spoilers. When a car has 3 spoilers, it's just gets too tacky.

alrite, consider i got rid of my spoilers, got a carbon fiber hood and painted my whole car blue, what color rims should i get to match the car? thanks for all the help

Gunmetal, bronze or gold rims. The white color is definitely not going to work since your car will be dark blue but will have bright white strips. That's just ghey. If you're going to go with the silver scheme, pick a dark Porsche gunmetalish type of silver. That might look pretty good. If you're gonna go with a CF hood, don't even paint it.
