I have just gotten the 15k mile maintaince on my car from the toytoa dealer this past saturday. Today i checked the dipstick, and the oil level was 1/2 a centimeter above the max recommended oil notch. WOuld there be any damages to my car from running on too much oil? Is it worth the hassle of taking it back to the dealer to fix?

btw...i usually do my own oil changes between toyota recommended service, i only did the "major" services at the dealer to maintain my 100k mile warranty

better with lots of oil then less oil...
are you serious with this statement? ok sure with the amount of oil he has he'll be fine. BUT too much oil is just as bad if not worse than running with no oil. It will put a hell of a strain on the engine and start to mess with everything internally. Your best bet is to have the CORRECT amount of oil.
