Has anybody had experience with this P1346 code? It refers to either the timing chain jumping teeth or an ECM malfuntioning. Can a timing chain that is too tense also cause this?
The engine seems to run just fine, but the code is thrown like every 60 miles of driving.

Thats a bad link
It said ecm sends signal to ocv to regulate oil pressure oil to vvt and sets dtc if valve timing is outside range at idle and is less than 19ca or more than 41ca in 2 drive cycles.

I'm starting to think the IN cam is out of position, maybe not by much. Can 2 degrees off cause the DTC? With the engine in place it's hard to tell if the dot on the IN cam sprocket is lined up with the top of the head edge.

Busted tooth on the cam plate, bad pickup coil, connection problem... and if it has jumped or is off.... I'd think it would cause the CEL.... but not positive.

I'll start by changing the pickup coil and see what happens, that's the easiest anyway.
Thanks all for the replies.
