Hey everyone,

I have a carbon blue gts and I am contemplating on getting my sideskirts painted. I feel that if I were to paint them, it would not be really noticable due to the car being dark, but I cant stand the way it looks when my car is clean and shiney. Do you think it would be worth it to get it painted at a shop, or just get some spray paint similar to carbon blue and just paint it like that with the addition of clearcoat?

Get them painted, or wait until you get a kit and paint that.

DO NOT paint it with a "similar" carbon blue. It's still going to look wrong. At least when it's grey, it's stock. If it's another blue, it's rice.

You gotta use good paint for side skirt, since there are alot of rock chips..
If you have plan for aftermarket body later, just use what ever method, but if you gona keep it that way for long time... get it professionally painted....

I dont plan on putting a bodykit on at all since I'm just not really a fan of that. For all of you who painted the stock sides, how long does it usually take on average to have it professionaly done. Also, anyone know of a good paint shop to do this in the SF area? Thanks
