My friend has an automatic 96 accord, and well it has a new starter and battery and everytime you start it makes a sound like when the battery is low on juice and cant start the car, and you gotta give it a little bit of gas in order for it to start, she changed the starter and battery and still making that sound and not turning on unles you give it gas...
thanks in advance

First check that there is enough coolant, if the coolant has air in the honda's or if it's low it will have eratic idle or not run! Second, Check the distributer which is known to go bad on almost all of those Hondas with that engine. Third but last check the fuel injector resistor(mounted on the fender well on the driver side. When the car is not starting pour very cold water on the resistor and try starting it that way. But I hope your only problem is a bad battery or terminals. None of those parts I've listed before are cheap on that car.

okay first (no offence to white knight) don't go looking for a injector reistor on a 96 bc it is obd2 and has low impedance injectors not high impedance injectors like pre 96 obd1 cars.second it sound like there may be a drain on the battery or a binding in the engine with a slow crank like that. so what i would start with is check for any cand of draw on the battery. then if you can't find any draw try rotating the engine cc by hand and see if you feel any binding. after you do these things post what you find and i can try to help you more although it is hard to do w/o the car in front of me.
