Hey everyone, this site it great! :wiggle:
I'm new here and this is my first post here, so hello.

So a few days ago, I bought a used 2001 celica gt Manual, 5speed, i love it, but since I am learning how to drive a manual, "never drove one" i have been stalling more than i would like :AF:

Now my problem is after stalling a few times, I turn the key and it does not even crank, until I wait a couple of minutes, when i try turning the key the clock and radio turn off fast as if it were cranking to turn on, but it does not affect any other lights, so i do not think its a problem with my battery, what could be causing this problem?

I do not want to end up stalling at a light or something and having to sit there waiting minutes to get my car started again:eek:

is your stalling pretty violent? Your battery terminals are probably loose and the banging of your stalling is shaking them too much.
Thanks for the answers. And yes I'm practicing driving manual more :) other than that, it runs great!
Preset a couple of radio stations, and when the problem happens again, check if you still have your presets. That way you'll know that something is going on with the battery. I had a similar problem to that when I first got my gts, turned out to be a bad battery.
