im planning on getting a veilside kit and i have a couple questions..
id like to know how much lower would the clearance be with a veilside kit as compared to stock.,
also, id like sum opinions on wut kinda springs i should get if i were to get 17" rims and a veilside kit.

I personally like the look of the hotchkis springs, but clearance is tough. The eibach is a little too high though.




17" w/ eibach prokit: 1-1.25" drop

17" w/ hotchkis: 1.375" front drop / 1.875 rear drop

a have a veilside kit on the way and i got 17's but what worries me is i am gonna have to get some new springs probabley cuase i got skunk 2's with a 2.25 in front and 2.5 in back... i would get the hotchkins though

if you are planning to get the veilside kit definately go with the 18s...17s look weird with that kit

That veilside celica actually looks pretty decent IMO with those 17" rims. Must be because of the profile of the tire. From far you can't really notice the tires much because of the wheel well area being too dark. Looks a lot better than what I suspected 17's on vs to look like though.

id like to get 18s but no $$$
ill probably get 18s in the long run but for now im gonna havta settle with 17s

dont settle for less, because you will regret it. just save up for 18 or 19... believe me it will look so much better with the veilside kit instead of small 17s

Yah I'd kinda like to go bigger than 17's now that I have my kit too but I don't think they look too bad. The kit drops the car a lot more, another 1.5" I'd say, and I'm running a 2" drop on top, a little frustrating at times but just love the look too much to change it.
