J, the design of your sign looks good, especially with the display of the progression of the car. Nonetheless, as a former editor, I must chew on it. Regardless of what you think of the rest of my statement here, its a great idea to summarize your car in brief and with some flash, which you've done.

Listing racing pedals as a performance modification may be over the top. If it can be viewed that way by some, a show judge would have a very tough time agreeing and admitting to it. If I read the above graphic correctly, you list headlights in the performance category. Headlights accent a type of performance but not a show judge's traditional view of performance, which would be increasing the car's speed or handling. Also (and this is petty scrutiny), a CF wing does more for appearance than performance for Celicas, but it'll definitely be OK for a show posting in the category you've chosen.

Remember, do whatever makes you feel good. I know you do. There's no need to take my advice. Show judges are there for the cars. Feel great about your car and display. I hope you enjoy the show.

i don't even have a list of mods that i bring to the show. I make sure that I'm at my car when its being judged so that i can point out things to the judges that they might not have noticed on their own. Most judges are pretty good at pointing custom stuff out, so you don't need to list everything. The flyer looks awesome though..........

Looks nice J. The only thing I don't like about it. The performance list is WAY shorter than the appearance list. :chuckles:

And Momo Shift Knob is DEFINITELY NOT a performance mod. The rims are questionable too. They aren't the lightest rims in the world. If you had lightweight rims, then I could let it slide. :)

The design looks good though. Can you send us a link to the original so we can get a better look at it?

Nevere having done this before, I am sure that I would forget something. So I thought the Flyer would serve as a cheat sheet for me and the judges. That way when they walk away, I wouldn't say...."damn I forgot to mention...."

Quite a bit lighter than the last set and 18" on a narrow sidewall in a corner is one hell of an upgrade, my friend.

Although that is a nice upgrade for cornering putting on heavier rims affects acceleration/decceleration and unsprung weight. :D

But I was talking about in a traditional sense. Rims usually aren't considered Performance. :)

I understand and some cases I agree..however there is a reason that GT series cars all run rims larger than 17". I , however, completely agree that those cars have far more HP than ours to make up for it.

true true and I'm not saying that all 17+ rims don't give a performance gain. But the rims those cars are running on are prolly aluminum or some ultra light composite that costs more than ****** Wil's car including all the mods. :chuckles:

conversly, look at F1 cars. They run small rims and large tires.
