I was told to use a hairdryer. But there's no way to get a hairdryer out to the apartment parking. Any other ways?

if you cant peel it off, and you dont want to remove the taillight you can do the following:

1)Buy a power inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter or to the battery to plug in the hairdryer.

or

2) -buy a blow torch and a small cooking pot.
-face the opening of the pot to the taillight without touching it to the actual light.
-blowtorch the bottom of the pot.
-the heat created in the pot will be direct toward the taillight, heating the film.
-once heated enough you can pull it off

 

its pretty easy to just peel it off.

 

ammonia works as well. Not straight but something with ammonia in it to break down the glue. Try simple green or windex.

 

i was thinking placing it over boiling water? water vapor and heat should help

 

use a steamer and a razor, thats how i removed the tint from my whole car. if any adhesive is left just use a desolvent

 

I going to try breathing on it really hard. Hopefully that'll heat it up enough. Thanks all!
