Some asshat backed into my car while I was parked at work today. My front bumper was already in really poor condition paint wise, so I was going to take it into a body shop to have repainted, and to have them fill my license plate holes. Well, now that I have the imprint of what looks like a large trailer hitch reciever stamped on my front bumper, I am wondering if it is even fixable. Is a dent in polyeurithane repairable? I am taking it in next week for an estimate, but I don't really know how they could repair it... Maybe smooth it out with bondo before they paint?

i'm pretty sure it is repairable, my body shop said you can't bondo it or it will crack. i had my kaminari sidemarker holes shaved/molded. they used another piece of urethane, cut it glued it somehow, and filled with something else. it's starting to show an outline, but otherwise i like it. good luck
