Hi Guys - The headlights of my celica look old and it appears that the left side headlight is broken (as when i take my car to the car wash, water leaks inside the headlight :/: )

Anyways, Im also thinking on buying the Xenon Depot 6000k HID conversion kit, but i would like to also get new headlights so a clear and clean HID light output can be appreciated.

If anybody has any suggestions on where to get replacement headlights, or any thoughts on which headlights provide better light output when use with the HID kit, please let me know.

Im not sure if those are good quality, and in the description it says "for halogen lamp only", does it mean that i cannot use HID on those ?

those are aftermarket OEM Style. You would want Real OEM. browse the for sale section or you can find them online new from many places pretty easily .. Click >

You can buy them new. I recommend OEM HID if you want to use HID bulbs.

Thanks for all the information! , i been looking online and my understanding is that i need OEM HID headlights.

I looked through ebay and found a nice JDM black projector headlights, would something like this should do it?

Those in the link above look pretty nice and i believe they work with HID light bulbs.

you said you wanted the best light output.. only OEM will provide "best" .. however many of us including myself are happy with the ouput of any aftermarket headlight lenses with HIDS
And those on ebay are not JDM. They are just aftermarket headlights

You should just stay away from Ebay headlights period.

Please stay under 5000k. My 5000k CBIs (not fully broken in yet) are a little bit too blue for my tastes. 4300k gives the most output.

OEM HID are expensive. To answer the question of whats going to give you the best light output you'd need OEM HID's and a kit from a good company like DDM. not a random ebay kit. All that being said, if you get aftermarket ebay halogen lamps then make sure to get a 55watt HID kit and keep the Kelvin low as stated above. 4300-5000-6000.

awesome, i googgled the spyderauto brand headlights for the the celica and they look nice! I think im going to pick the Chrome ones looks neat

I would go with a set of morimoto hids. They are available at theretrofitsource.com
The 35w kit is fairly bright but I would recommend the 55w 5k kit for a bright white color.

Not to be a douche but not everyone is rolling with that kind of bankroll. hes already stated thats well out of his budget
