should i build my 1zz or buy a 2zz from a salvage yard and build it.

ive got a 2003 celica gt and was wondering is it even worth building the 1zz thats in it or should i just buy a 2zz and go from there. im trying to get the car in the 12s and have it still be streetable and i have about $10,000 to $15,000 to spend. any infos appreiciated.

Initially, yes, because of lower compression, but you can get more power in the end with a 2ZZ.
