Something fishy in part numbers for moonroofs...

Ok this is two different sites whom both have moonroof listings for our car. Whan you got to the part database the pages look the same even though they are two different sites. Also, they have the same price for the moonroof for years 2000-2002 and 2003-2004 which makes me wonder if one is really different from the other since they are calling both glass assemblies. It seems to me that the real glass piece would be more expensive than the resin one so why are they the same price? Here are the sites:

https://www.parts.com/partlocator/i...=2003&graphicID=8514352&callout=1&catalogid=2

https://www.trademotion.com/partloc...59&make=34&model=Celica&year=2000&catalogid=2

Has anyone ordered a 2003+ glass moonroof from these people? If so, was it really the glass one for this price, not the resin one? I was fixing to order this off of the net tonight until I caught this. I don't usually have time to call and order stuff during the day so like I said I was trying to do this tonight but obviously I do not want to order it if it is not the glass assembly. Can someone please help me out here? Thanks in advance.

You need to take your VIN to the dealer and they will match the sunroof with the VIN, that will be your correct P/N.
www.parts.com provides online software for several sellers.
You can go to their website and choose one of them.

Resin or lexan sunroofs are discontinued, and they sell only glass ones. No difference, if you select 2000 or 2004.
I wrote them a letter, and received a confiirmation of it before buying.

I bought from www.1sttoyotaparts.com and it's glass.
How hard was it to remove the original sunroof to install the new one? Did you have to take out the headliner and panels?

I sure hope it is not going to be that involved. They say it is simply removing 4 torx screws and then replacing the glass tightening down the same screws you took out.

Yes, 4 screws. You need a torx screwdriver.
Everything fit as well as the old resin one? Had any problems with the rails or motor or anything?
Those 4 screws are in there quite well.

It's a direct replacement.
Probably, you need to adjust it to level with the roof.
So far I have seen a $219 price, anyone seen lower?
