I'm going to be replacing my front struts soon. I'm new to the 7th gen and as such this is my first Celica so have made a couple posts, discussions. When removing the old struts and reinstalling the new ones. Do you have to remove the brake caliper? From my understanding it was as follows. Jack up the car, remove the wheel. Remove the 3 bolts in the engine bay and the four lower bolts and the bolt that holds in the brake hose. Is that all that's required? And reassembly is the reverse of removal?? Regards

Should not need up remove the calipers, top 3 but leave one on 2 threads. Undo the hose Centre mount, Info the sway bar link, undo the 2 huge bolts and nuts. Check there is not an adjustable camber bolt in sight.

the hub should bend& twist out and back to clear the strut.

sway bar link uses ring spanner and Allen key to release
