can some one please tell me how much it cost to replace third and fourth gear synchro? with labor? because i believe my thrid gear is gonna go out, im grinding 3rd gear atleast once a day and today i had a hard time getting it into thrid gear, like i actually had to push it hard in, and this is after i just changed my fluid too about a week ago ( i used redline MT90) so any guesses?

much cheaper if you take off the tranny yourself and take it to them

yea see i dont im not very mechanically bright, and i looked at the adobe disassemble MT transmission and im pretty sure i cant do it. can anyone tell me what they think is wrong with it? synchro going out? clutch problem? gear teeths wearing out? and the thing is i JUST put it redline MT90 and this started happening ever since. wtf, i thought MT90 is supposed to help "preserve" the transmission.

Sounds like a synchro problem but the more you force it in gear the more likely you are to damage the actual drive gear.
