I am planning on lowering my car around 1.25'' I dont want any lower of a drop because I am planning on using the stock shocks and also winters around here are not the nicest so I dont want it to be skimming the ground.I was thinking about some tein s-techs? and whats the difference between s-techs and h-techs? is there a conservative set of springs made by hotchkis that is better than the s-techs? Any opinions would help thanks.

both will put you lower than that. s tech is more of an aggressive spring than h tech or whatever. if u are only looking to go 1.25 on stock shocks go TRD.

it's possible but i wouldnt do it. It will wear out the stock shocks pretty quick. Just save and do shocks/springs at the same time....it'll save you some work.

Tein s-techs: 1.4" drop all around
Hotchkis: 1-3/8" drop front and 1-7/8" drop rear so as to level out the car.

See my sig for the Hotchkis drop.

If you care about Rotating, hotchkis is a good bet but I'd recomend some sport dampers (like my Konis or some AGX).. if you just want a mild lowering for looks and are serious about staying stock on dampers ( :faint: ) TRD.
