The biggest complaint i've been hearing about the X is that the interior will get wet when it rains. I've also heard a lot of bitch about how people in 'urban environments' will be excluded from this car because it won't be 'parking garage friendly', which i honestly don't buy. anyways, i also look at that arguement as being nit-picky; i don't see that the urban highrise market demographic will be that important for this car (especially considering that outside of NYC that market doesn't really exist in the US..... -___- )
anyways, i'm not entirely sure why they felt the need to create these doors, the selling point of this car is that it is a fvcking fully functional electric suv with very reasonable range and Tesla seems to be diluting that value by almost advertising these doors as the most important part of this car...
anyways, i still have high hopes for the brand. my tesla investment has so far put a very big smile on my face

although for some reason the market didn't seem to react very well to this cars launch, even though it pretty much met every expectation that had been held prior to it except for one - it is cheaper than i was expecting. i really don't understand why lawl street didn't like this thing.
maybe the doors won't make it to market, i dont really see it as that big of a loss but it does have kind of a wow factor. the mechanics of it might prove to be too much of a pain in the ass maintenance wise - double hinges, and an electrical opening/closing mechanism? is all of that really necassary just for a door?
