What's going on NorCal? It certainly has been a looooong time. A lot of the folks have been anticipating a meet for a while. So as usual, I would like to step up and host a beach meet. We usually do a Santa Cruz Meet in the Summer, but I've decided to do it a bit earlier this year. I have a different place in mind for our Summer Beach Meet.

You know the rules, no burn outs, cockiness, racing, reckless driving of any kind. We are to obey the law at all times.

If you can't follow the rules, please do not come to this meet. We're here to hang out, have fun, make new friends and greet the new members here on the forum.

Now then, let's cut to the chase:

When: May 18, 2013 at 10:00am

Where: Manresa State Beach

Why: Because we are long due for a meet

In the meantime, let's all rendezvous at the McCarthy Ranch Parking Lot where Best Buy is by 10:00AM. We will leave the rendevous point and make our drive to the Beach by 11:00AM. Please do not be late.

Finally after the beach, we can grab food somewhere in Santa Cruz... Perhaps the Pier and even hang out at the boardwalk?

We usually have a bonfire at this meet. Anyone want to volunteer on the wood/fire?

Feel free to bring s'more ingredients as well as snacks to share. Being at the beach, you can expect to have limited access to the local market so do plan ahead if you want to get water/food etc.

I'd also contact Wilson for the t-shirts. I'm seeing more attend this meet but not sure if all of you are aware that we have shirts designed too!

Since this is not really a pot-luck meet, I suggest you guys bring snacks while we're at the beach too.

We won't have food until we hit up the Boardwalk <-- I still don't know if everyone's down with this idea still. Please share your thoughts.

Lol yea... I tried... but this car stuff is really a guy thing I guess? In exception to the female car owners that are apart of this forum.. But yeah dude. Thanks for showing up. I always feel bad for the new folks and hope their first meet experience doesn't go bad. Had you stayed for the beach, I think everyone had a fantastic time. But maybe next time! I appreciate the fact that you brought your gf. Maybe I should've had my girl talk to yours more so they can nag together lol

Lol this wasn't her first meet I dragged her out to that's why. But yeah.. We got a facebook group page. I don't think a lot of folks are posting on newcelica.org as much as our facebook group. I think we're doing a mini-meet to watch Fast and Furious 6 next weekend if you wanna do a round 2 and hang out w/ us.

Thanks for shooting. I use to be the one shooting photos/recording videos at meets but hosting a meet is a job itself. Glad someone is able to do this. Looking forward to those pics
