i know i probably just haven't been paying attention to the forums but is the rsx-s vs. gt-s a driver's race? it seems so due to specs but just wondering if anyone knew off hand (or even better FIRST hand!)? it's always so tempting to pull up next to one but i never do...!

stock vs stock.....its all driver from there cuz my friends raced and it was back to back. But a fixed up RSX-S will definitly beat a GT-S unless it has force induction.....maybe.

i think a lightly modded rsx vs a lightly modded gt-s is still a drivers race.

and lightly modded means no hondata just i/h/e

The Type-S in particular are the pre-facelift models. The newer versions are more than a driver's race, stock for stock.

i just went head to head with the same mods, CAI, stock exhaust. i pulled in 2nd half a car length, after thay we were the same all the way to 120

i know of an rsx with hondata spankin the fukk out of a hatchbakk with a gsr motor (i forget what year on the motor and the hatch), an evo, and 2nd gen celica with a 7m motor. this was at the qualcomm races about maybe 2 months ago? but i still don't give respect to rsx's. iono, thass just me =X but celica all the way baby :evil:

I have raced probably about 5 rsx-s's and I actually only got beat by one of them and he had hondata and cams and he only pulled away when I had to make the shift from 4th to 5th at about 105 because he didnt have to shift. All the others I've always pulled about a car legnth or two down the freeway.

The driver of that Evo must have been a crappy driver cuz Evo's and pretty much all AWjunkies own that track......thats if they know how to launch. My friend who is really big on RSX's said there is really not much of a difference between the 05 and the old ones except that the 05's have like an extra 5-10 hp but they are heavier....iono thats what i heard so correct me if im wrong.
