so the tire shop doesnt do tire stretching. so im attempting to do it myself, but i cant get the bead to set to save my life. i even had 3 people pushing on it with me. any ideas?

EDIT: http://tyrestretch.com

If you choose to stretch your tires, you are inherently responsible for any possible damages. Stretching tires is at your own risk and may void any warranties associated to the tires.

Starting fluid and a ratchet strap. Strap the center down, spray ether around the bead, light that shit on fire, should pop the bead on. Old school trick brought back from Japan

Keep calling till you find someone, probably going to have to offer a cash deal with no warranty and no receipt.

I never said my way was the best or safest but it does work

UPDATE

Ok so the fire, absolute failure. Tried sunscreen, Off, PAM, hairspray, MAF cleaner, none of which worked.

With the bike tube, I managed to set the bottom bead. Tomorrow, I'm going to my uncles shop because he says he has a cheetah. I'll let y'all know if it works.

That's the tire lube, I asked the same thing.

And lets not diss what other people have. Just because$600 xxr's aren't expensive to you, that doesn't mean that they're cheap to us.
