Alright, I'm sure this has been discussed but I would like to get some of you guys' opinion on tire pressure. I know about the different settings for track conditions, but I plan on using mine on the street for regular driving and some racing. My tires are the stock GTS 16s. My good friend has given me some advice and I used it for my tires. He knows his **** and I completely trust him, but I would like to get some secondary opinions just out of curiousity. Right now, as adviced I have 32 psi in the backs and 31 in the fronts. What do you think?

Thanks in advance,

Fin

you could just keep it at the normal psi if you're just driving on street, then let some out if you go to the track. Ive never gone to the track so i dont know how much of a difference a couple psi will make

i keep mine in between 30-32 all around. hit the drag strip and i drop it to 25-28 in front. as far as i can tell my wear on the tires isnt that bad so i guess im doing alright...

I would run recomended tire pressure that is on the tire which is i think is 44 psi. I have already worn a set of those tires out and i only had 13000 miles on them. the lower air pressure on the door post is the pressure that tire performs best at. (corning, best grip, etc) however tread life will be shorter because of the lower tire pressure. This was the case of my car and i had talked to toyota tech guy about it and that's what he said.
