yes thats just the dust cover , but you said you leaked oil after the crash so you need to see if theres any leakage from both shafts try pushing them and see if they are loose , note that they give a small amount of free play ,

:whoa: , that shaft does not go in whith the snap ring like the other , its stays on whith that 3 bolts , theres your leakage take of see if the seal is ok then put it back toghether again and put the 3 bolts on again , and then add gear oil you should be ok

I got the axle hub and drive shaft off today. As I feared, the impact ripped the 2 top bolts out along with the threading and the bottom bolt broke off inside when I tried to unscrew it. The oil seal looks good but I can't reassemble if I can't mount the bearing bracket. What can I do to secure the bracket?
if you can take the rest of the bolts by hand it hould be great .

try using this tool



if they broke and left so threath of you can grab it whith this , then clean the holes good and but new bolts in , if not drill it clean it and make new treath´s and put locktite in it and helicoil the bastard then install the bolts
