i remember a while ago some shop was porting throttle bodies for hondas and celicas. the company stopped porting celica throttle bodies cause they said it was too difficult? you could try porting it yourself but maybe there was a reason why the other company stopped porting tb's for us.

Yeah its for a 2zz not specifically for a gts. I have a corolla xrs. The throtle body is running for $600 doesn't sound to expensive, if there is good results. If this throtle body bolts on to my car I might get it.

Maxbore.com will still do gt-s throttle bodies for i think 135+shipping to and from maxbore. Ken (kinwaymotorsport) also sells that trial unit, but I do not know anyone who has bought it here in the states.

You could always do the bore yourself, but unless you have access to a mill and a way to fabricate a new butterfly plate, your better off going with maxbore.

i did the bored tb myself, i have access to milling and turning machine.. i bore mine to 68mm cause anymore i would have hit the two hole at the side .. you would have to frabicate a new butterfly plate previous plate will be of no use .. the diameter of the plate was made to 68.5mm and you have to sand paper it to fit in your tb.. the butterfly plate is not round its actually oval. while you are at it might as well mill the center shaft like what rr did for their tb they claim better cfm .. there was a previous post on bored tb do search, very informative...... :)

yeah i think i read that if you go bigger than 68 you have to mess with the manifold or something thing. if you do port it i would think 68 would be more than enough to give you what your looking for.
