Dude... That is so wrong. I know Seabrook personally. He is plenty pissed about the whole situation, more so than he lets on in this forum. And all I have to say is that, is really wrong to imply insurance fraud. The car had several upcoming projects that he was more than excited about. And for you to toss in your "opinion" about this being insurance fraud. That's pretty fucked up. For you to imply that... that's just wrong.

Another reason why everyone with a flashy car or modded car should have a lo-jack or GPS tracking system !

even if someone keyed my car, i'd be more irate than he was above...

i was at a party and someone got the keys to my car no one knows where they are they just vanish!! lol "nice family huh" well the next day i go home to get my spare and when i return my baby is gone

so now i want nothing to do w/ the celica if it returns

that's why i say it's smells fishy...

if the car is truly stolen, i wish for a safe return and no damage done, but by the looks of the third paragraph, he doesn't care at all for it's return

That's what I don't get either, why doesn't he want it back? I'd want my car back if it was stolen.

Sometimes when really bad things happen to you, you kind of accept it and don't want to think about it. I lost $7g a couple of weeks ago and I just felt very indifferent about it and I try to pretend that it didn't happen. Life goes on, you don't want it to affect you more than it should.

I see your point... And yes you could take it that way. But if you were to live in Tucson, as we do, something like the nations #2 or #3 in the top 5 cities for stolen cars it's only a matter of time before your car or someone you knows car is stolen. Regardless of the circumstances, Seabrook put a lot of time and money into that car and like many others, babied beyond belief... I for one would feel much like he does and not want my car back after it had been stolen, and possibly abused and/or damaged. Remember the saying once a car is in an accident it's never "Truly" the same. It applies here too (mentally), once a car is stolen, it never feels like it is yours again. I say this because my car was almost totaled ($8000+ in damages) last October and I am anxiously awaiting the day I can get rid of it.

But enough of the BS, I am sure we all hope the car is found in good condition and the pursuit for perfection in this car continues.

I agree with 2001SilverGTS and nyoneway...if he was waiting for his car to be stolen and was planning insurance fraud (which would probably need to be planned unless you'd want to get caught), then why would he be getting his car boosted? I'm pretty sure Trial00GTS was going to have the Trial/Blitz supercharger installed on his car, as well as on some other Celica's...why would he go through the trouble if he was planning on having someone steal his car?

If I was in his position, and someone implied something like that, I'd deck them in the teeth...

Although i don't understand why you don't seem more upset when posting (i was crying my brains out and ready to kill someone when my car got keyed), i hope you feel better none-the-less. I'm sure this has been a rough week for you, and i wish we could support ya more than with these damn sympathy posts. SOrry to hear about your ride. I would be really pissed and my car isn't NEARLY as nice as yours. I would have every friend of mine in a three state radius keeping an eye out for it!
