Although i don't understand why you don't seem more upset when posting (i was crying my brains out and ready to kill someone when my car got keyed), i hope you feel better none-the-less. I'm sure this has been a rough week for you, and i wish we could support ya more than with these damn sympathy posts. Don't worry about a thing kid, everything will be okay. chin up! could've been worse. :( :)
Agreed. Although I can't personally relate to how calm he's being either, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Years ago, when my old Civic was once stolen, I was so pissed, I was ready to snap someone's neck. Hell, when it was finally recovered, and the guy was caught, I contemplated finding him so I could kick the living $hit outta him, until I finally regained my composure.
Why were your keys just lying around so anyone could take them? The only time I have my keys sitting on a table or something is when I am in my own home, but never in somone else's.

Sometimes when really bad things happen to you, you kind of accept it and don't want to think about it. I lost $7g a couple of weeks ago and I just felt very indifferent about it and I try to pretend that it didn't happen. Life goes on, you don't want it to affect you more than it should.
Same thing with my friend who got his Civic SI jacked. He just shrugged it off and acted like he didn't care but I knew deep down it hurt like a mother.
HOLY SHYT. Dammit dude... sorry to hear about this. Hope things work out and somebody rules ass on the guy that stole your car.
i know if that happened to my car it would be found damaged by someone that cant drive a car that low.
i would want it back but it wouldn't be the same for a while.
how much does lowjack cost?
dude, thats fukkin lame, if someone jacked my car, i would beat the shyt outta them. Your car was my favorite celica on this board, i cant believe that. Hope you find the person who stole it so u can beat there ass for bein an idiot
Alot of people like to toss around that insurance fraud term without realizing how serious it is and how much trouble they can possibly cause for false accusations.

Sometimes when something really bad happens you just dont feel like talking about it or going into much detail. I know when I lost my Celica frankly I was sick of talking about it, sick of defening myself, and frankly just wanted to forget about it.

Anyway, hope everything works out for you Trial..
my condolences to your recent loss...you had a fine @ss ride and hope you resolve this situation...godspeed unto you...
Hopefully he will get the car back, so what if someone busted up the front bumper, better to replace one body panel than a whole car.
I have to agree with larryd, why should the guy have to justify himself to you guys trying to claim hes going after "insurance fraud"
I for one know if my car was stolen I hope I'd never see it agan. Or If they do find it I wish it would be burned out or something. Why would you want your car back after its been violated by idiots doing god knows what to it?
It will never be the same car...

That sucks man, but seriously, cry me a ****ing river  What kind of an attitude is that? I have a real hard time feeling sorry for someone who seems to care so little for their possessions.
man some of you guys have no sympathy..

when i had my civic stolen, i didn't want it back, even tho i loved the car.. i just thought, if i did get it back, it would be what i had, but worse.. worse in a way that I didn't know what happened to it when it was gone.

when my car was found 1.5 days later, the interior was all jacked up and the chairs were greasy.. i even found french fries in the back seat. Now this was a car i babied for a whole year since I got it new: kept the interior clean and smelling like Air Spencer Squash, and washed and waxed the outside every two weeks. Those guys who stole the car don't give a crap about it, so they treated it like crap. There was too much damage to the electrical system of the car (the theives stripped it all out and broke the circuit boards) that the insurance decided it was "totalled".

Would I want to own that car again knowing its been "violated" even if they fixed it back to the way it was? Hellz no.. just gimme the insurance money and i'll buy a brand new car.

which is how i got my celica. I still loved that civic.. but now i love my celica.

So if some greasy unemployed lowlife stole your car and did god knows what to it, you'd want it back no questions asked? no matter if he **** in your backseat and spooged on your dashboard, and ripped out whatever else was worth anything, plus prob overreved it or misshifted it, no matter what youd want it back cause its YOURS.
You'd be saying the same thing.
