Hi All,

I read a post a while back about someone who was having problems with their celica. They were saying that during low idling in neutral the car was making a loud "heartbeat" or ticking sound.

Well I myself was having this problem. It seemed that whenever I drove it for say 20 minutes or so and then came to a stop and put it in neutral this loud ticking sound would start happening.
If I touched either the clutch or gas it would stop until I let off again.

I took it in to my dealership (under warranty...phew...) and they said it was the clutch pressure plate and that it was 7 hours work and around $2000.
This is a brand new car, so good thing the warranty is all good.

Just letting whoever was having this problem that this is what Toyota is telling me causes it...
