Where is the unit and selector for sensitivity on the VIP 3200 Alarm? Does anyone have a picture? Mine is not that sensitive.

I have a 2000 GT-S with the alarm. It is under/behind the dash behind the security light and window shut-off button (left side of steering column). If you lay on your back and look up under the dash, it's right there. There should be an adjustment visible and labeled. Just play with the sensitivity until you are happy with it.

I've Got Mine set at about level 7.


Here is what you do to test the sensitivity:
* Gently tap the center of the driver's side window with a key.....use this to guide your adjustment

I adjusted mine to about 7. I may increase it even more. Anyone else comment on their level adjustments?

yeah how affective is it upping the sensitivity? I was thinking about buy something like this and adding it on, dunno if this would work.

You will need a DEI/Clifford alarm for that to work. That unit is an add-on to an existing DEI alarm. It won't do anything for our stock alarms. Well, it might look cool. :thumbup:
