Maybe just redo the border between WV and VA to include a lot more of VA in the WV portion. Then leave NOVA as "New Virginia".XYRCNCP said:

Another reason why we should be split.Beast said:Apparently ~57% of the virginia voters thought it was necessary. Then again, almost half of them voted for a racist Californian who pretends to be from Virginia, and wears a cowboy hat. He must have Virginia confused with Texas.XYRCNCP said:What I'm saying "fvcking VA" to is the ballot issues, some might disagree with me, but the marriage deal...wtf? Why is it necessary to ammend the consitution to say marriage is between a man and a woman and not recognize civil unions and domestic partnerships?
If it happens soon enough, maybe Jake and I can get hitched before we both go back to our fraudulent heterosexual relationships.schlegelbagel said:at least MD seems to be swinging back to the Dems again. Lots of people are pissed over the war and it seems thats whats fueling the Dem vote, but as we see from VA's marraige amendment, there are other issues on peoples minds as well.
But i'm going to quote Jake on this issue. I'm actually GLAD this went through. Because its going to speed its progress to the Supreme court, its going to befound discriminatory, and WHAMMO, gay marraige for everyone.
These conservatives are shooting themselves in the foot. They should have let it be as it is.
I don't think this will happen, as long as they maintain the mindset that being ghey is a choice. There are loopholes for discrimination...well, F. loopholes. VA just made it law. :shrugs:schlegelbagel said:But i'm going to quote Jake on this issue. I'm actually GLAD this went through. I think you'd be surprised by the constitution of most states. It's a show.XYRCNCP said:fvck this state...or "commonwealth"...fvcking idiots.Beast said:I don't think this will happen, as long as they maintain the mindset that being ghey is a choice. ...I've said too much
Yeah, but we CHOOSE religion and we aren't allowed to discriminate based on religion either. In fact last i checked this country was suppposed to be about deciding your religion without having laws dictating it.Beast said:I don't think this will happen, as long as they maintain the mindset that being ghey is a choice. Holy ****.Beast said:In MD, Republicans were passing out "Democratic Sample ballots" with Erlich and Steele checked.
Glad those guys lost. Shady candidates preying on the fact that 1/4th of all Americans are retarded... :chuckles:
Erik Markle, one of the people handing out literature for Ehrlich, who is seeking reelection, and Steele, the current lieutenant governor who is campaigning to replace retiring Sen. Paul Sarbanes (D), said he was recruited at a homeless shelter in Philadelphia.
After a two-hour bus ride to Maryland, Markle said the workers were greeted early this morning by first lady Kendel Ehrlich, who thanked them as they were outfitted in T-shirts and hats with the logo for Ehrlich's reelection campaign. Nearly all of those recruited, Markle said, are poor and black. Workers traveled to Maryland in at least seven large buses.
