Umm not really response. It is hard to explain but search this website a few months ago there was good thread about this. They came to the conclusion that all it does is decrease the range of movement of the throttle. Just making it harder to shift cause you can not feather the gas as well.

it will help you the slightest bit if you have a naturally light foot on the gas when doing a full throttle hit. You have to adjust the hell out of your cable in order for it to do so though. Give yourself lots of extra slack and try the 3rd hole (2nd from bottom pointing down to radiator), then just adjust the slack out and stabilize your idle.

This was the only adjustments I have made to mine that actually show a noticeable difference.
