If you mean welding the engine mount closed, it will work fine if you have a manual Celica. There will be a small vibration at idle, but you should get used to it in a day or two. If you have an automatic, though, it will create an unbearable shaking at idle.
If you do this, make sure to leave a little room around the edge of the center of the mount so it can flex a little. You also want to fill in the open space of the mount with something like polyurethane or silicone.
