hey wassup...i know i did the search but all that came up were intake ppl gettin cel....anyways, i had my AEM intake for a while and have never gotten CEL...well all of sudden, i got yesterday mornin...so could cause CEL and how do u get it fix?

Go to autozone and get the code read - there are hundreds of codes - knowing your CEL is on doesn't tell us anything.

could a 2002 knock sensors with a 2002 ECU cause a CEL to come up?....cuz i think thats wat it is but ill go to Advance Autoparts or Autozone or sumtin to have it read....

Umm the 2002 ECU is supposed to have a 2002 knock sensor... maybe you mean an 2001 or 2000 ECU?

i wrote it wrong my fault....i think what my mechanic did was he used the 2002 knock sensors and took the 2002 ECU out of the engine and replaced it with the 2000 ECU........so im running a 2000 ECU and a 2002 knock sensors and i think thats the reason why im gettin CEL but im not sure.

That will DEFINITELY set a code. Should also make the car run pretty crappy.

Thats the 2000 ECU so the correct one is in the car.
