Hi guys,

Last night my car was broken into which resulted in the attempted theft of my head unit. Although they were not able to remove it, the ar*e bandits did enough damage to the unit to render it useless and damaged the centre console surround. My question, Toyota are charging a ridiculous GBP168.14 for the plastic console, however, is anyone aware of any replica console units (for an 03+) at a respectable price (preferably in the UK)?

Also, are the climate controls attached permanently to the console as the prices quoted are without?

Are you talking about the surround for the Stereo, Climate controls, and the sunglass box?

I couldn't tell you where to go other than a junk yard. But, the Climate control overlay is attached to the console surround. Too bad the stupid a-hole teens in the UK can't find anything better to do that this crap.

Toyota sell the plastic (surrounding the clock and stereo) seperate to the climate control module... assuming the CC module is actually screwed into the console.

Will keep scouting around... although it would be nice to see those cock jockeys on my travels for some beatings. :nutkickhi
