Just doing a comparison on the stiffness/hardness of different lowering springs.

I already know that Eibach has a softer ride than the H&R, and that Tanabe springs are very soft.

Where does the TEIN spring fit in the with these other springs? Are they soft or hard like the H&R's???

I've got TRD springs as of right now.. They ride very nice.. not too stiff.. I should have my Teins installed within the end of the month.

With Tein I think you can get custom spring rates when you get a coilover kit from them. The default springs on a Tein SS system are 280 LBS front and 392 LBS rear.

I was looking to get the TEIN lowering springs, not the coilovers as you mentioned

I know that on their site it shows there are 2 kinds, but on the American site there is only one listing with a different product number. Which ones are the American spec? Medium or soft?

Would it be better to get th H&R's instead for their added stiffness? Or since I'm in a snow covered area, go with the TRD?
