How come most people have the TE37 and not the CE28N?

Because te37 are super light and most people get them for weight saving. Both looks nice but people have different taste.
I'm pretty sure the CE28N is lighter arnt they?

Because they're amazing! It's like a new set of pretty rims, more grip (if u get wide ones) and then adding the effect of two boosted2.0 ported headers for the extra power and ease of acceleration (so so noticeable in lift)
Not sure about the weight of ce28n but te37 weighted only 3.7kg each wheel.

8 lbs each? Thats only for the 14"

The 16 or 17's are still like 13-16 lbs.
because IMHO the are the best looking wheels for the Celica...just too damn expensive.
haha... am i weird for thinking the TE37 looks crap compared to the CE28N?
the thing is too, that ce28n have more sizes/width/offset for the 5x100 compare to TEs. The CEs are only slightly more expensive than the TEs, but again, slightly lighter than TEs.
ssr type c rims seem lighter than those
Yep. SSR type C/competition line of wheels are lighter, also lighter are the 5zigen FN01R. But for Rays, the CE28n are their lightest one piece forged aluminum wheels offered.. then there's the TE37 Mag.
again... are you sure? im pretty sure i saw that CE28N 17x7.5 weigh 13.8lb

the FN-01rc 17x8 weighs 14.8lb

CE28N 17x9 weighs 14.8lb

TE37 17x7 weighs 15lb

ssr type c 17x7.5 weigh about 13.0... but they are ugly too!
i would have to agree, i have always loved ce28n's rather than te37, maybe its a rarity issue

FN01-R, not FN01-RC. RC is a cast version, made in US. The FN01R was the last 5zigen wheel that was only made in japan.. has been discontinued for ~3 years, they are forged aluminum, lightest wheels i've ever held in my hands. Felt like it was made of plastic.

The SSR type C should weight just between the FN01R and the CE. And there's also the buddyclub P1 racing QF that is also slighly ligther than the CE28N.
where does everyone buy the te37 from?
machiii.net or hopupracing >> I am about to buy 2more rims from either. They are extremely competitive too. I got my other 2 from a member.

buy for me :gap:
Do you mean "buy from me"??

If so how much do you charge for a set of 17x7.5 CE28N? (how much extra for gunmetal or matt black)?

Kind regards
Sam
