Buy a celica gts that has been misshifted even tho it has a new motor installed? Still have factory warranty for 3 years. I'm in a dilemma...save about 2k or less and go w/a misshifted celica or get one that hasn't been...thanks for the input guys..

I'm glad your making the switch, you won't regret it(I had an auto GTS before too.) but I would try and avoid it. Just keep an eye open, you'll get a good deal. It took me four months to find my perfect 6 speed.

yeah, you should look around before buying a car like that. it took me forever to find the perfect celica that had everything i wanted, but it was worth it.

Definitely test drive it. Just because the motor is new doesn't mean everything else is in perfect working order (possible tranny, clutch problems, etc.).

i just feel paranoid about things like that...and you get what you pay for and better safe then sorry right? It does make me think since it's still under warranty for another 3 years.
