Celica Roof Racks?

Hey peeps,

I picked up a new bike a couple days ago and was thankfully just able to fit it in the back with the seats down.
Since I don't want to have to do that every time I take it somewhere I'm wondering if anyone here has installed a roof rack for their bike?

Either way I've found a couple online but don't exactly know whether or not they'd fit.
My GT-S also has a sun roof so I don't know if that prevents me from getting one?
If you have a bike rack for you Celica would you guys mind telling me the name of it, so I can try and pick one up.
Any recommendations and help would be appreciated.

lol yea i had one. it was a cheap walmart rack held on by straps. never tried putting a bike on it and im pretty sure it wouldnt hold up a bike. best bet is a yakima or thule brand.

if your going to order it from yakima then i think your going to need q towers,crossbars, a bike tray and q46 clips. a fairing if you want. total would run you $300+.

Do they block the sunroof? Any that don't?

I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of them block your sunroof from opening all the way.

i've seen 1-2 celica's with it for a real purpose

dont be like those wanna be JDM people and have it for looks

i almost want to steal it from them and put it to good use, since i could use a rack for snowboarding or biking :fawk:

If you get Yakihma or whatever make sure you get the right Q clips, bar and adapters.

i was actually going to put it to good use for my bike and board.
i hate shoving that sh*t in my trunk and on top of that my trunk shocks are dead -___-

The yakima website quoted me $800+ for Q clips, bars and bike rack.
Almost twice what I paid for my bike.
