I'd guess he had around 300-500 watts running through that. But you have to remember that how much wattage you can run through those wires has a lot to do with what amperage fuses are attached to them.

 

i see....ill have to check that out tomorrow when the sun is out....im just trying to get an idea on what he was running, because i figure, i might as well use his wires that he left behind....any recommendation on what subs and amp i should go with? assuming i can run in between 300-500 watts total? thanks

well I would suggest a high-sensitivity sub with an amp that has matching rms wattage. But it all kinda depends on what kind of bass you want.

I would like a fair amount of bass with clarity as well. I dont need to blow my windows out, but alittle bump, bump is always a good thing.
