Im wanting to buy a chip for my celi

wanting to get a few extra horses and some better mpg.. not looking for anything expensive

If any of you guys have put chips in your car that improve your cars performance, any tips would be great

Oh I thought to OP was talking abt the resistor looking type of things promising absurd HP and MPG gains...we all know those don't work lol.

If these chips did work, wouldnt everyone be using them o_O only the dumb ones even consider getting one.

the ecu does a self check, once it sees the chip it bypasses it. the chips you see are "fake" and do not work. theres been a thread about this. do a search and read for yourself. but by all means go ahead and waste the money on something that "DOES NOT" work just so we can laugh at you when you start another thread saying "why does my new installed performance chip not work anymore????"

ZOMG! With that absurd logic, who needs the Apexi PowerFC, DD IM, PPE Header, TRD exhaust.... to break 200whp!

Seriously:
If these chips did work, wouldnt everyone be using them
The dude is a 2011'er and he has more sense about these things.

Realistically, you fall under this category.

Had these even worked, you would be reading more about them and see them listed in other members mod lists.

The only "LEGIT" chip was made by Jet, the JetChip. Even that failed because the factory ECU overrides any changes it made. Take some time to look up that item here. Hopefully you find the thread where we tried to tell the member it was a bad purchase, but he was too much of a ricer to admit it, and eventually stopped logging on.

For the Celica, it's either a piggyback or a stand alone.
