Just a idea to make it ''look'' lower. Take it with a grain of salt also, don't know the work that would be needed. Why not mold the wheel well areas with some fiberglass to make it take the gap away. I don't know, throwing crap out there.

I love the car. Hardtops look 1000000000x better on these.

Monocraft did this for the 2nd generation kit they sold, and it looked like someone rubbed poo on the car

as for the photoshop have done this on several occasions, gotta love photoshop. I might try to lower it an inch, should take me down to 4 inches of clearance up front.

If it had a supercharger most probably yes, or just some light weight wheels but with the big heavy wheels+hardtop it weights it down a bit.

My old mk3 on the strip was quite fun

little bit of an update, had the front end re done, all the fibreglass repaired, new plate, new grill, totally transforms the car. Removed the softop completely now too.
